As autumn arrives in Aotearoa, this April newsletter highlights a significant month for enhancing connections, sharing insights, and building capabilities within New Zealand's EdTech ecosystem.

Last month, EdTech New Zealand was invited to UNESCO in Paris for the Global Education Coalition. The organization also represented New Zealand at the inauguration meeting of the Global EdTech Alliance of Alliances.

The event convened over 220 institutional partners from the UN, civil society, academia, and the private sector. All participants shared a common objective: to advance inclusive, equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning.

The digital transformation of education globally was a key focus. EdTechNZ members can leverage the challenges and opportunities discussed, aligning with UNESCO's goals, as they explore exporting and entering new international markets.

Dean Watson, EdTechNZ Executive Director, was elected to the EdTech Alliance of Alliances Board. The author also acknowledged the EdTechNZ Executive Council members for the opportunity to represent them at the global event.

This newsletter also details new developments within the community, including the launch of the Member Hub, a brand refresh, upcoming events, and member updates.
