The work is intended to reduce outage risk and support continuity of critical hospital services. Health NZ says respondents need demonstrated hospital-grade or comparable critical-infrastructure electrical experience, in-house delivery capability and proven high-voltage switchgear expertise. This is principally relevant to specialist high-voltage electrical and critical-infrastructure contractors. Environment Canterbury — Canterbury Blue-Green Network Plan and implementation guidance. The RFP, RFx 34974104 / reference SNP_2600548, opened at 5pm on 18 September and closes at 5pm on 19 October 2026 NZDT. Environment Canterbury, acting for the Canterbury Mayoral Forum, wants a multidisciplinary team to develop a regional framework for nature-based climate resilience, biodiversity and low-emissions outcomes. The stated work includes spatial analysis, stakeholder engagement, GIS planning and implementation tools, making it relevant to environmental, planning, engineering, GIS and engagement consultancies. Gisborne District Council — Tokomaru Bay temporary transfer station. This RFP, RFx 34971380 / reference 26-106, opened at 2.30pm on 18 September and closes at noon on 16 October 2026 NZDT. The scope covers a new temporary waste-transfer facility, vehicle circulation, waste and recycling infrastructure, drainage, signage and landscaping. The opportunity is aimed at civil, earthworks and infrastructure contractors with relevant project experience and delivery capacity. University of Waikato — Hamilton campus lift replacements. The RFT, RFx 34974125 / reference 327349, opened at 5.30pm on 18 September and closes at 5pm on 23 October 2026 NZDT. It covers modernisation of one lift in the Management School Building and another in G Block to address parts obsolescence and improve availability. Waikato District Council — Huntly West Domain courts renewal. The RFT, RFx 34973275 / reference C00001788–PR-25095, opened at 5pm on 18 September and closes at 3pm on 13 October 2026 NZDT. Council is seeking an experienced contractor to renew ageing asphalt court surfaces, with the notice emphasising comparable delivery experience, plant and resourcing. NZQA — Wellington office-relocation advance notice. This is not yet an open tender. The Notice of Information, RFx/reference 34970367, opened at 3pm on 18 September and asks interested commercial relocation suppliers to register by noon on 2 October 2026 NZDT. NZQA anticipates a later closed RFP for a February 2027 move, potentially covering planning, packing, furniture and equipment relocation, specialist moving and temporary storage.
