To access specific resource consent information, users can utilize the search function on the Wellington City Council website by entering a suburb, address, or service request (SR) number. It is recommended to use full words instead of abbreviations in the search bar. If the online search does not yield results, users can email planning@wcc.govt.nz, including the SR number, to request a copy of the consent documentation.
The council provides regularly updated lists of both applied for and issued resource consents. These lists are available as PDF documents, with records dating back to May 6-19, 2024, for issued consents, and May 6-19, 2024, for received consents. The most recent updates include consents issued and received between June 2 and June 15, 2025.
