New Zealand to Introduce Citizenship Test for Grant Applicants in 2027

Internal Affairs Minister Brooke van Velden has announced a new in-person, multi-choice test for New Zealand citizenship by grant applicants. Starting in late 2027, the test will require a 75 percent pass mark on democratic principles and rights.
